Dan organizes/runs a fun big band of some of the top Las Vegas musicians. This band has performed at the Maxan Jazz Club, E-String Bar and Grill, and as a featured band with educational group programs.
Dan has degrees from Mansfield University and the University of North Texas, where he served as lead trumpet in the Grammy-nominated One O'Clock Lab Band and recorded "Lab 2010" and "Lab 2011." He is currently working towards a Doctorate degree in Brass Performance at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and has been on the faculty at DePauw and Mansfield Universities. Dan has studied trumpet with Bernard Shifrin, H. Michael Galloway, Jay Saunders, Mike Steinel, Dale Orris, Barbara Hull, and Bobby Shew.
